Red Light Therapy
Red Light Therapy refers to low-power red light wavelengths emitted directly through the skin which can be absorbed to a depth about 8-10 millimeters. This has a positive effect on cellular energy and multiple nervous system and metabolic processes. Red light therapy has shown benefits through multiple studies to improve a wide range of symptoms and conditions such as:
- joint and muscular pain
- acne and skin appearance
- slow healing wounds
- side effects of chemotherapy and radiation
- anti-aging benefits – increases collagen production to improve wrinkles and fine lines
- depression and fatigue (including seasonal affective disorder)
- improved immune function
- psoriasis and eczema
With no known side effects this therapy would be beneficial to everyone! Please note that for visible skin improvements we recommend 3 sessions per week for at least 8-12 weeks (or until desired results are achieved) and then 1 session per week thereafter as maintenance.
